Andy Malone was born August 6, 1974 at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope. He attended the Fairhope Public School system and graduated from Fairhope High School in May 1992. Andy began college in September of 1992 and graduated from Auburn University in August of 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics. While at Auburn, he was a member of the Economic Honors Fraternity (Omicron Delta Epsilon), as well as FMA's (Financial Management Association) National Honor Society. Soon after graduating from Auburn, Andy was recruited by Farmers Insurance and immediately entered their training program. After completing the first stage of training classes and obtaining his state licenses, Andy opened Malone Insurance Agency. His first policy went into effect February 1, 1997. Andy enjoys hunting, fishing, outdoor sports, and following Auburn athletics. He lives in Fairhope with his wife, Melanie, a graduate of Troy State University. Melanie works for a local mortgage company as a loan originator.
