Replacement of Income -
If your client is disabled, Cornerstone pays a benefit proportional to income loss with replacement ratios up to 75% and a unique catastrophic benefit equal to 150% of the regular monthly benefit limit.
Recovery Benefit -
Even after recovery and return to full-time work in his or her own occupation, income may suffer as your client rebuilds sales or a client base. The Recovery Benefit extends benefits to help with this hurdle.
Return to Work Benefit -
If your client is unable to return to his or her previous occupation, but returns to a new occupation, the Return to Work Benefit provides an increased benefit to ease the transition.
Rehabilitation Benefit -
Your client's return to work may depend on a vocational rehabilitation program. Provident will pay the cost of a mutually agreeable, voluntary program which might include business and financial planning, career counseling and retraining, labor market surveys and job placement services.
