Paula Malone was born in Roanoke, Alabama, but lived in many different places because
her father was in the armed services. Paula moved to Fairhope from Kansas City, Missouri,
when her father retired from the Air Force in the Summer of 1966. This is where she met
her future husband, Earle. While Earle was finishing his senior year at Auburn, and then
completing basic training with the National Guard, Paula attended 20th Century Business
College in Mobile. Her first job was with Merchants National Bank in the Business
Development Department, and then she went to Commercial Guaranty to work as an
Executive Secretary. She left the business world to start a family and she and Earle were blessed with two adorable sons
Matt and Andy Malone. While her sons were growing up, she helped Earle in his many business ventures and then returned to work when the boys
entered high school. Her position was at a local health club teaching water aerobics and water therapy and helping in areas of the club's management. She continued
to work there until both sons graduated from Auburn University. In April 1997, she accepted the position of office manager at Malone Insurance Agency. Paula's favorite past time
is being "Meme" to her four grandsons, Sam, Ben, Riley and John. She also enjoys gardening, exercising, baking, playing bridge (with the same group for 25 years) and spending time with
family and friends. Paula and Earle currently live in Montrose, but have recently been building a farm in Silverhill, with an organic garden, chickens and a fish pond for the grandchildren to enjoy.
